I’ve been following the blog for ~5+ years after reading Education Myths. Does this matter?
I have been deeply involved with the governance of an urban PK-8 high performing charter school.
Then you know that we have never stuck just to education on this blog, and we don’t mind pointing out the clearly established, incontrovertible truth about the crimes of communist governments, which are right there in the public record for all to see.

Let me up the anté: As a former holder of a T.S. security clearance, I wager there’s been at least 1-2 classified sessions where this virus was discussed as a biological weapon.
No need to change the topic.
The genetic code of this virus makes it extremely unlikely to have been synthesized. I would hope we have a lab looking at coronaviruses for pandemic responses. Perhaps the Chinese did as well. A purposeful leak in their own country? Makes no sense. By accident… plausible. As is game in the open as the mutation moved from animal host to eventual susceptible humans. Hiding it from the world was a crime.
Another crime was wasting our two month lead time to respond with intelligent containment and suppression measures. South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany had no more notice than the US… and have done far better responding.
And it’s a disaster for children to have to lose a half year of schooling… a natural disaster compounded by poor leadership.
I didn’t say anything about synthesized. You can cause a pandemic without having synthesized the virus and even without having been involved in its initial release. Deliberately lying to the world about vital information, ordering scientists to stop running tests and destroy their samples, murdering scientists who try to warn the world about what is going on – the list goes on. That the communists did these things is all a matter of public record.
Two things can both be true: That our own political leadership in both parties has comprehensively failed to handle this crisis well, and would be driven from office in shame if the people of this country still had any sense of shame; and that the reason we have a crisis in the first place is because of the murderous tyranny of the Beijing regime.
