2 Responses to John Rawls Rolls in his Grave Upon Viewing NAEP Trends for IEP Students
Are there any theories about why the “gaps” on NAEP tests have been increasing (one assumes between certain minority groups and all other kids) in association with increased federal/state funding targeted to low-performing schools/kids? It would be useful to have discussions of that central issue. Sandra
I tend to agree- it WOULD be good to have these discussions and further we need to explore these trends ” for IEP students” because we need to break down the number of ” IEP students” and find out how many may be learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, or even intellectually deficient. I am sure there are children who are blind or visually impaired or hearing impaired who are also ” IEP students” and we need a breakdown of these ” IEP students”.
