Since my kids have ONLY been in private schools, I can honestly say I’ve been VERY happy with the teaching staff.
In fact, because the public schools are such a disaster zone for teachers, we often get outstanding teachers who do not want to deal with the nonsense. We get the ones who go into teaching for the love of teaching.
Only passed through the Senate Budget and Appropriations with a vote of 8-5 (with some Democrats voting yes). It still has to clear the Senate and Assembly before becoming law.

I think that bill has been stuck in that committee for 2.5 years.
