Key here was “Its the peoples seat”, Obama and the democrats (less atractive than Josie and the Pussycats but I’m dating myself) have a vision for America and the world, most of us don’t like that vision see the faults and flaws with that vision see the long term detrimental effect of that vision and want no part of it. Heres the bit they just don’t get, They Work for us, not the other way around. We are a “Representative Republic” lose sight of that and we’re in a dictatorship.
Steve, I’m amazed. If “most of us [didn’t] like that vision,” President Obama would still be a Senator, no? It is the people’s seat, and the people voting for the filler actually have health care. Funny how that works. Those who have vote to put in someone so they don’t have to share. The representative republic isn’t doing a very good job of representing, but the republicans are doing a good job of obstructing. And where were you, since you’re dating yourself, when W’s vision of America was invading countries and passing legislation without funding and cutting taxes or deregulating industries? Or did you not see the “long term detrimental effect of THAT vision”?
