The people of Hunington have basically been anti growth for the last 30 years so the town is dying fast.

In the last four years the people opposed a Wal-Mart being built in town. So it built itself in the town next door.

The people then voted against letting a mall get built so they built the mall in that town next door.

Needless to say, the little town nearby is growing and creating jobs. My brother sent me this article that says Huntington is poor, fat, and unhealthy…http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27697364

He said it was all very very true.
