You should up date this site. The information published in the NWA Times was provided by Byron Zeagler of FHS to Offfice Lee. The information was not published in the official school records of Billy; which was obtained by Billys mother and a reporter of a local news paper. Cover-up? I smell one. Furthermore, no where in the official school records of Billy Wolfe does it remark, indicate, or suggest that Billy was an instigator or bully. In addition, if the facts were closely looked at, Zeagler violated the Federal Family and Educational Right to Privacy Act, and lied to a police officer conducting a criminal investigation by releasing the "disciplinary actions" and "complaints" taken and received against Billy. The questions should be, IF Zeagler has cause to believe Billy was the problem and indeed was the root of trouble, why wasn't Billy suspended or expelled? Why didn't Zeagler report to the police, as required by Arkansas Law, IF indeed Billy was the cause? And why did Zeagler release his "note book of events" knowing it was a violation of law?

Someone left a comment on another blog a few weeks ago about how he wrote to Mr. Barry to complain about his article, and Dan Barry emailed him back insisting that it was not a news story article but a column - meaning it's more about opinion rather than objectivity.

Then again, that NYT story came out over a month ago? I can't believe this story is still being ranted about in the blogosphere. Old news. Wait and see if the family wins the lawsuit - then you'll have something to talk about.
